I understand even in the comic's johnny isn't mean or threatening towards squee, he treats squee like they're related, and when a pedophile tried to molest squee in "JTHM-Book 3", johnny protected him, well by dismembering him in front of squee, and when nny is around squee, he tries to have a nice conversation. squee may be afraid of johnny, but johnny thinks squee as a best friend.
